- ½ cup shortening
- 🧂 ¾ cup white sugar
- 🥚 2 large eggs
- 🍌 1 cup mashed bananas
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 🧂 ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup quick cooking oats
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
步驟
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Cream together shortening and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Stir in eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in bananas and vanilla.
Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Beat into creamed mixture. Stir in oats and nuts. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean, 50 minutes.
