INGREDIENTS

- 🦑 1 cleaned squid
Meat
- 🥓 250g pork belly, sliced
Vegetables
- đź§… 1/2 onion, sliced
- đź§„ 10 cloves garlic, halved
- đź§… 1/3 stalk green onion, sliced
- 1 green chili, sliced
- 1/2 red chili, sliced
Seasonings
- 3 tbsp cooking wine
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2.5 tbsp chili powder
- 1.5 tbsp brown sugar
- đź§„ 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds
STEPS
Prepare the squid by removing the suckers from the tentacles and cutting the tentacles into smaller pieces. Slice the body into 1.5cm thick strips.
Coat the squid with 1.5 tbsp brown sugar and mix well.
Slice the onion, green onion, green chili, and red chili. Halve the garlic cloves.
Combine chili powder, minced garlic, cooking wine, soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, and sesame seeds in a bowl. Mix well.
Add the prepared vegetables to the marinade and mix thoroughly.
Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces and cook in a pan over medium heat until golden and the fat is rendered.
Push the pork belly to the edges of the pan and place the marinated squid in the center.
Mix the pork belly and squid together, stirring evenly until the squid is fully cooked.
Serve the dish with rice and lettuce wraps.
