 - 1 tbsp vegetable oil

 - A pinch of sesame seeds

Seasonings
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
 - 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
 - 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
 - 1 tbsp corn syrup
 - đź§„ 1 tbsp minced garlic
 - 1/3 tbsp sesame oil
 - A pinch of black pepper
 
STEPS
Mix all the seasonings together in a bowl and set aside.
Soak shishito peppers in water mixed with 1 tbsp vinegar, rinse, and cut into halves if too long.
Clean the squid thoroughly and score the inside for better flavor absorption.
Cut the squid tentacles into smaller pieces, ensuring all ingredients are of similar size.
Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a pan and stir-fry the squid until it starts to curl.
Add the prepared seasoning mix to the pan and cook until the liquid reduces slightly.
Add shishito peppers and continue simmering until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve warm.
