INGREDIENTS
Dairy
- 🧀 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
Sugar and Sweeteners
- 🍬 1 ¾ cups white sugar, divided
- 🍯 ¼ cup honey
Flavorings
- 🧂 1 teaspoon Mexican vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Dough
- 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
Butter
- 🧈 ½ cup butter, room temperature
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
Unroll crescent roll dough, and shape each sheet into a 9x13-inch rectangle using a rolling pin.
Press one piece of dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture on top of the dough layer.
Cover the cream cheese mixture with the remaining piece of crescent dough.
Mash the remaining ¾ cup sugar, butter, and cinnamon with a fork until combined and dot the mixture over the top layer of crescent dough.
Bake in the preheated oven until the crescent dough has puffed and turned golden brown, about 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven, drizzle with honey, and allow the cheesecake to cool completely in the pan for about 2 hours before cutting into squares.
