INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🍚 1 bowl of cooked rice
- 🥒 1/2 zucchini, sliced
- đź§… 1/3 onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tbsp chili oil
- đź§… 1 handful chopped green onion
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Seasoning Ingredients
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 0.5 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- đź’§ 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- đź§„ 0.5 tbsp minced garlic
- A dash of black pepper
STEPS
Slice the zucchini and onion into thin pieces.
Mix all seasoning ingredients to create the sauce.
Heat cooking oil and chili oil in a pan over low heat. Add chopped green onion and stir to make green onion oil.
Increase the heat to high and stir-fry the sliced zucchini and onion for 2-3 minutes.
Add the prepared sauce to the pan and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Turn off the heat and finish with sesame oil.
Serve the stir-fried zucchini mixture over a bowl of rice. Optionally, top with a fried egg.
