INGREDIENTS
Essential Ingredients
- 🥔 3 potatoes
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- 🧂 1 pinch salt
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oligosaccharide
- 1 tbsp cooking wine
- 💧 1 tbsp water
Additional Ingredients
- 🧈 1 piece butter
- 🧀 some cheese
STEPS
Dice 3 potatoes and boil them in a pot of water to reduce cooking time.
Bring water to a boil in a pot over high heat.
Add the diced potatoes to the boiling water.
While the potatoes are boiling, prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, oligosaccharide, cooking wine, and water.
Drain the cooked potatoes and mash them in a bowl using a masher or fork.
Add 2 tbsp potato starch and 1 pinch of salt to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
Shape the mixture into small balls, flatten them slightly, and optionally add cheese to the center of some for variation.
Heat 1 piece of butter in a frying pan over low heat until melted.
Place the mochi in the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides.
Pour the prepared sauce into the pan and simmer until it thickens slightly.
