Wet Ingredients
- 🧀 4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 🧈 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
- 🥚 1 large egg, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Dry Ingredients
- 🌾 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 🥛 3/4 cup malted milk powder
- 🧂 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Mix-Ins
- 🍫 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup sprinkles
ขั้นตอน
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch square pan with enough parchment paper to have overhang on all sides.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, brown sugar, and melted butter until smooth. Add in egg, vanilla, and almond extract; mix until thoroughly combined.
Add in flour, malted milk powder, salt, and baking soda and mix until just incorporated.
Fold in white chocolate chips and sprinkles.
Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven until bars are golden and just set, 25 to 30 minutes.
Allow bars to cool completely in the pan before removing using parchment overhang. Cut into 16 bars.
