INGREDIENTS
Fruit
- 1 (29 ounce) can sliced peaches
Sweeteners and Spices
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (Optional)
Baking Mix
- 1 (9 ounce) package yellow cake mix
Fats
- 4 teaspoons margarine
STEPS
Discard 1/2 of the juice from canned peaches and pour peaches with remaining juice into a large saucepan. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Cover with cake mix in an even layer. Place margarine on top in the center.
Cover the saucepan with a lid and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Once you see steam escaping the saucepan, reduce heat to medium-low, and continue cooking for 10 minutes; do not lift the lid during this time.
Remove from heat and allow to stand with the lid on for 15 minutes.

💡 You can substitute canned peaches with other canned fruits like pineapple or mixed fruit. If you prefer a crispier texture, transfer the cobbler to an oven-safe dish after cooking and broil for a few minutes to brown the top.For a lower calorie version, consider using a sugar substitute and low-fat margarine.
