INGREDIENTS
Crust
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger (Optional)
- 🧈 6 tablespoons butter, melted
Filling and Topping
- 1 (13.4 ounce) can dulce de leche
- 🍌 3 bananas, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, ginger (if using), and melted butter in a bowl. Press mixture into a 9-inch fluted tart pan or pie dish.
Bake the crust in the preheated oven until set, around 12 to 15 minutes. Cool crust on a wire rack for 15 minutes.
Spread the dulce de leche onto the cooled crust and arrange banana slices evenly on top.
Whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar until stiff peaks form (about 3 minutes) and spread over the bananas.
Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours or overnight. Optionally, sprinkle with chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, or espresso powder before serving.
