INGREDIENTS
Pasta
- 1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti
Cheese / Dairy
- 🧀 ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 🧀 1 (1 ounce) stick string cheese, cut into 16 slices
Breadcrumbs and Seasoning
- ⅓ cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Meat
- 🥩 1 pound lean ground beef
Olives
- 8 black olives, halved
Cooking Oil and Sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
Egg

STEPS
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until tender but firm to bite, about 12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Whisk Parmesan, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, parsley, basil, and oregano in a large bowl. Fold in ground beef and mix until blended. Form 16 meatballs using a cookie scoop.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown meatballs for 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking sheet using tongs.
Bake meatballs in oven for 8 minutes.
While meatballs bake, prepare olive 'pupils' and cheese 'eyes' using a plastic straw.
Remove meatballs from oven and cool briefly.
Assemble zombie eyes: spiral spaghetti around forks, add meatballs, decorate with sauce and olive-cheese eyes.
