INGREDIENTS
Dairy
- 11 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
Sweeteners
- Âľ cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Cookies
- 2 (12 ounce) packages ladyfinger cookies
Fruit
- 🍓 1 (16 ounce) package frozen strawberries

- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
STEPS
Strain strawberries and set aside, reserving juices. In a saucepan, bring cornstarch and strawberry juice to a gentle boil. Remove from heat and let cool.
Whip cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl until smooth.
In a separate bowl, beat heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
Arrange ladyfingers around the sides and bottom of an 8-inch springform pan, standing ladyfingers lengthwise around the sides of the pan. Add 1/2 of the filling into the pan, then layer ladyfingers on top. Add remaining filling on top of the ladyfingers.
Spread strawberry sauce over the top of the cake and arrange whole strawberries as decoration. Refrigerate overnight until thoroughly chilled.
Carefully remove torte from pan to serve.
