INGREDIENTS
Sauce ingredients
- 1 cup hoisin sauce
- 🧂 1 cup white sugar
- 🍶 ½ cup soy sauce
- 🍅 ½ cup tomato paste
- 🍷 ⅓ cup white wine
- 🧄 ¼ cup chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco), or to taste
Meat
- 2 pounds baby back ribs, cut into 1-inch riblets
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Combine hoisin sauce, white sugar, soy sauce, tomato paste, white wine, garlic, and hot pepper sauce in a large bowl; mix well.
Place riblets in a large roasting pan. Bake in the preheated oven, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
Pour sauce over riblets; toss to coat. Continue baking until riblets are tender and sauce has thickened, stirring often, about 45 minutes more.
