INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork sausage
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 🌾 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 🥛 4 cups milk
- 🧂 Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
STEPS
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the sausage for 10 minutes, or until browned.
Stir in the margarine until well blended, then stir in the flour until the mixture is thick and pasty.
Reduce heat to medium-low and slowly add the milk, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thick and bubbly to the desired consistency.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot over biscuits if desired.
