INGREDIENTS
Dry Ingredients
- 10 cups cornflakes cereal
Wet Ingredients
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 🧂 1 cup white sugar
- 🥜 1 cup smooth peanut butter
STEPS
Heat light corn syrup and white sugar in a saucepan, stirring continuously, until the mixture comes to a boil.
Remove from heat and immediately stir in smooth peanut butter until the mixture is smooth.
Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cornflakes in a large bowl and mix until the cereal is thoroughly coated.
Spread the mixture into a buttered 9x13-inch pan. Lightly press down with buttered hands to compact. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
