INGREDIENTS
Wet Ingredients
- 🧈 ¾ cup butter, softened
- ¾ cup white sugar
- ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
- 🥚 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
- 🌾 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 🧂 ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 ¾ cups rolled oats
Mix-ins
- 1 cup raisins
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper or silicone liners.
Beat butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Add eggs and vanilla extract, then beat until fluffy.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients. Stir in oats and raisins.
Drop teaspoonfuls of batter 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, switching racks halfway through.
Remove from oven and let cookies sit on the sheets for 1-2 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

💡 Measure flour correctly by spooning it into your measuring cup and leveling it off with a knife to avoid dense cookies. For softer cookies, slightly underbake them—they will continue to cook on the cookie sheet after being removed from the oven.Add some chopped nuts or chocolate chips for variation.
