INGREDIENTS

  • Oil

    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Protein

    • 🥩 1 pound lean ground beef
  • Seasonings

    • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
    • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    • 🧄 1 tablespoon minced garlic
    • 🧂 1 ½ teaspoons sea salt
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Liquid

    • 💧 3 ¼ cups water
  • Pasta

    • 🍝 1 (16 ounce) packet of spaghetti, broken in half
  • Sauces

    • 🍅 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • Vegetables

    • 🍅 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes

STEPS

1

Turn on the pressure cooker and select the sauté function. Add onion and olive oil and cook until onion is soft, about 300 seconds. Add beef, Italian seasoning, pepper flakes, minced garlic, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Cook and stir until beef is browned, about 420 seconds. Cancel sauté mode. Add 1/4 cup water, scrape the browned bits off the pan, and bring to a boil.

2

Layer spaghetti in a crisscross pattern on top of the beef mixture. Pour marinara sauce over the pasta. Add diced tomatoes and the remaining 3 cups water around the sides, ensuring all pasta is covered.

3

Close and lock the lid. Cook at high pressure for 300 seconds. Wait for 900 seconds for pressure to build.

4

Allow natural pressure release for 300 seconds, then perform a quick-release method for the remaining pressure. Open the lid and stir the sauce and pasta together.
