INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🍫 1 ½ (12 ounce) bags semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
- 🧈 1 cup margarine
- 🍚 4 ½ cups white sugar
- 🥛 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
STEPS
Put chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, and margarine in a large mixing bowl.
Combine sugar and evaporated milk in a pot over medium-low heat. Stir constantly and bring to a rolling boil, then reduce heat to low. Continue stirring and heat the mixture to 240°F (115°C) using a candy thermometer, about 7 to 10 minutes.
Pour the hot sugar mixture over the ingredients in the mixing bowl. Stir until well combined. Add vanilla and peppermint extracts and mix thoroughly.
Line a 9x13-inch baking sheet with wax paper. Pour the fudge mixture into the sheet and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
Once set, use a hot knife to cut the fudge into 1-inch squares.
