- 🥓 1 pound sliced bacon, cut in half crosswise
Bread and Dairy
- 🍞 ½ cup dry bread crumbs
- 🧀 ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Herbs and Spices
- 🌿 ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
- 🧄 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 🧂 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, oregano, and basil in a large bowl; form into 2-inch meatballs.
Wrap 1 half-slice bacon around each meatball; turn each meatball 45 degrees and wrap another half-slice of bacon to enclose. Place meatballs onto the prepared baking sheet, seam sides down.
Bake in the preheated oven until meatballs are no longer pink inside, and bacon is crisp, about 45 minutes. Ensure an internal temperature of at least 160°F (70°C).
