INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🍗 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken thighs
- 🧄 3 cloves garlic
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
Seasonings
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 🧂 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon honey
STEPS
Combine chicken, garlic, chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, olive oil, cumin, white vinegar, salt, pepper, and honey in a resealable bag. Seal and toss to coat. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to overnight.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil if necessary. Cook chicken until golden brown, about 5–7 minutes.
Flip the chicken and transfer skillet to the oven. Cook for 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let chicken rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
