ИНГРЕДИЕНТЫ
Dry Ingredients
- 1 cup quick cooking oats
- 🧂 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup flaked coconut
Wet Ingredients
- 🧈 ½ cup butter
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 💧 2 tablespoons boiling water
Leavening Agent
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together oats, white sugar, flour, and flaked coconut. Set aside.
Melt butter and golden syrup together in a small saucepan over low heat.
Combine boiling water and baking soda in a small bowl and then add this mixture to the melted butter mixture. Stir well.
Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients in the large bowl and mix until well combined.
Drop spoonfuls of the dough 2 inches apart onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven until the edges are golden, approximately 18 to 20 minutes.
Let the cookies cool briefly on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
