INGREDIENTS
Base
- 🧈 ½ teaspoon unsalted butter
- 🍎 2 cups diced apples
- 💧 3 tablespoons water
- ½ tablespoon white sugar
- 🧂 ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 🧂 1 pinch salt
Topping
- 2 tablespoons rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 🧈 1 tablespoon melted unsalted butter
STEPS
Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Butter a small oven-safe dish that fits in the air fryer.
Combine apples, water, white sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl. Add mixture to the buttered dish and cover tightly with foil.
Place the dish in the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes. Remove foil, stir contents, cover again, and cook for another 10 minutes.
Mix rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and melted butter in a small bowl until crumbly.
Uncover the dish, sprinkle topping over apples, and air fry uncovered for another 5 minutes.
Remove apple crisp from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
