재료
Sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 🧄 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced
- 🍅 4 cups ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon oregano leaves, crushed
- 🧂 1/4 teaspoon salt
- ground red pepper (to taste)
- cooked chicken breast (optional)
Pasta
- 8 ounces fusilli pasta

Wash hands with soap and water.
Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan. Saute garlic and parsley until golden.
Add tomatoes and spices to the pan. Cook uncovered over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Optionally, add cooked chicken to the sauce and cook for an additional 15 minutes until chicken is heated through and sauce thickens.
Cook fusilli pasta firm in unsalted boiling water following package instructions.
Serve the sauce over the cooked pasta and garnish with coarsely chopped parsley. Serve hot or save for next day's lunch.
