For the slurry
- 💧 1/3 cup water
- 🍞 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 🧂 1/8 teaspoon salt
For frying
- 🛢 4 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil

Mix water, flour, and salt together thoroughly in a small bowl to create a slurry; set aside.
Add vegetable oil and sesame oil to a non-stick pan and place over medium-high heat.
Place dumplings in the pan flat side down in a circular pattern. Cover and let brown for about 3 minutes once sizzling.
Whisk slurry and pour around the dumplings. Reduce heat to medium and cook until moisture has evaporated and the lace skirt is crisp and browned. Carefully loosen edges if stuck.
Remove from heat and use a plate to invert the dumplings carefully. Serve immediately with dipping sauce.
