- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
Wet Ingredients
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup whole bran cereal
- 💧 1 ½ cups boiling water
- ½ cup shortening
- 🥚 2 eggs

चरण

Pour boiling water over oats and bran cereal, and let stand for 10 minutes.

Combine the remaining ingredients and add the oat mixture to them. Pour into two 8 or 9-inch pans.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. If making muffins, bake for about 15 minutes.
