INGREDIENTS
Marinade
- ๐ค 1/4 cup soy sauce
- ๐ฑ 3 green onions, whites and greens, chopped
- ๐ฌ 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- ๐ง 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- ๐ค 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ๐ฐ 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
- ๐ฅฉ 2 pounds beef sirloin steak, very thinly sliced
Dipping Sauce
- ๐ค 6 tablespoons soy sauce
- ๐ถ 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- ๐ฐ 2 teaspoons crushed toasted sesame seeds
- ๐ 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
- ๐ 1/4 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ๐ฌ 1 pinch white sugar
STEPS
Mix 1/4 cup soy sauce, green onions, sugar, vegetable oil, garlic, sesame oil, and sesame seeds together in a bowl. Add beef to the marinade. Let sit until flavors are well absorbed, at least 30 minutes.
Prepare dipping sauce: Mix 6 tablespoons soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame seeds, ginger root, paprika, cayenne pepper, and pinch of sugar together in a bowl.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef until firm and lightly browned, about 8 minutes. Serve with dipping sauce.
